Love Birds

Crazy to think it's less than a month until Valentine's Day. We're currently taking orders for our standard cupcakes and also these cute Love Bird boxed cupcakes. There are a couple of other special additions to our range for this year - keep your eyes peeled and we should hopefully have pictures up by the end of next week.

We're also enjoying the snow here today - it's not that often that it settles on the Dorset coast so we've taken full advantage this morning by sledging & throwing snowballs.

Winter Wedding

This was for a wedding at The Italian Villa which is at Compton Acres in Poole. The bride and groom wanted something simple and stylish to incorporate their wedding theme of royal blue & pearl.

The three tier cake was made up of a light fruit cake, a zesty lemon cake and a rich, dark chocolate fudge cake.

We made the bride & groom topper out of modelling clay so the happy couple could keep a reminder of their special day.

You will need:

Triple chocolate fudge cake

(unashamedly warmed up in the microwave)

  a hot drink

repeat as necessary

Saturday's birthday girl was a bus driver so it was only right that she got a double decker bus cake - complete with digital blind with a scrolling birthday message.
